I can convert the.sav binary file to hex, but i'm not quite sure how to go from there. .sav, as far as i've ever seen, are usually just renamed sram, so just copying the.srm to.sav would probably work. Gotta change it from level.sav, these character file only seems to have your uid

I've done it with several emulators, and most of the time, it works. Run the conversion tool from requirement 4 to convert the.sav files to.json open the oldlevel.sav.json file created (it will probably be very large, but notepad++ worked for me) and search for the first 8 chars from step 5 if it doesn't find those characters, try again with an even older backup (if you don't have one, you're probably sol) In retroarch, save states are saved as.state
